The Bougie Aunt was created in 2020 as an online space for me to inform the general public about issues I either thought were underrepresented or I had not been presented in the media with viewpoints I possessed. The style in which I utilize to address these topics is conversational, as if one were reading an article personalized to them from a family member. Hence, the name, The Bougie Aunt.
